About Us

Fining Around Ltd was set up by Finbar Taylor in 2005 , however Finbar has been involved in the dive industry since 2001, working towards improving diver safety. In this time Finbar Taylor has worked as a safety diver and instructor with some of the UK 's leading technical instructors, many five star PADI centres and the National Freedive Team.

 

Finbar Taylor has also been diving various rebreathers (Dolphin, KISS, Inspiration, Evolution) since 2004 and is very keen to improve diver safety whilst utilizing this technology. Most of Finbar's spare time is spent diving the deeper wrecks along the South Coast of England. Utilising rebreathers allows him to stay under water that little bit longer, and to get that little bit closer to the marine life, which is especially useful when whilst shooting film or still images.

 

Above water, Finbar is a keen rock climber and surfer, when he is not at home with his family - doing a spot of DIY or spending time with Kayleigh, his new baby daughter.

 

Fining Around operates in the UK and at many locations around the world; training, providing safety diving services, driving and diving from charter boats, and working at various gas stations and dive centres blending gasses. In addition to providing diving services it has been innovative in designing and marketing products that are aimed at reducing risk and improving diver safety.
